There is not a way to do this; part of it is with the bandwith needed to display the info - and part is the small screen on most phones will not allow for detailed info. Eric

Its not a complete waste of money, but no, it will not work for you if your not in an area serviced by Nextel... In a Nextel covered area - its very good.

The data itself is not sent via SMS, it is sent using the packet data provided by Nextel, to return the info the the AccuTrack server - which can then process and send out alerts via SMS.

I am running them in the trunk - and have benn 100% surprised.... I did 2 tests yesterday; 1 in a Saturn (yes, its a metal trunk), in the tunk, under the spare tire, in a case - 100% signal. And also a plymouth grand voyager, in a case, in a compartment - 100% again... Its amazing how sensitive the ...

To be honest; your gonna find out that you do NOT need an external antenna... Unless you unit is severely burried - you will still have good coverage... If you want to discuss your theft recovery more, you can PM me...

If you turn off smart sending, it will send you a POSIT update at the interval that you set...

If you leave smart sending ON - it will send you an update when it moves - and ALSO every 30 minutes! That way you know its still alive and well - a great feature...
