Re: tracking only working when I click on Accutracking now

I did not say that you need to let the battery go dead for it to work - I said if you allowed it to go dead, there is a chance that it came out of start-up. You can reset that option; settings - personalize - startup - AccuTracking If its currently set to "Default Ready"; then thats your i...

Re: tracking only working when I click on Accutracking now

Did you call Rob and ask him? What do you mean it it only sends when you tell it to? Does that mean it does not send unless you hit refresh on the PHONE? If so, turn smart sending off. Does that mean that it does not send unless you load up AccuTracking on the PHONE, then it works till he stops? If ...

Re: can someone explain?

Do you have tower fix turned on? This is one of the main reasons I keep this feature on - if your unit is in a "hidden" location, and it can't GPS fix - it could still be on - but never send any data, since it won't have a fix. If tower fix is turned on, it would at least still report the ...

Re: can someone explain?

It could be several things; could be no service; bad GPS area, bad signal area; a text or email message could have locked it up.

Without the phone in hand its tough to remote troubleshoot.

Re: Minimum send interval

60 Seconds is the fastest you can do. Auto interval will speed it up - a little; with latency and stuff being optimal - you can do about 40 seconds at speeds above 60 MPH. But that assumes good signal - both GPS and iDEN.

Re: Elapsed??

What does the phone say? My guess is the battery is either dead, and that is why it stopped - or the application has been suspended. Both will show on the display... Another issue could be if you ran out of boost time - you don't say if its a brand new activated unit - or how long you have had it. A...

Re: I335

None of the new Boost phones will report remote battery level - this feature was stopped by Motorola after the i415

Depending on your fleet - you may or may not need remote battery anyway.

Re: MORE THAN 30 "UNKNOWN NUMBER" CALLS A DAY

You can't without the help of a court order...

The easiest way is to just call Boost and get a new phone number... And then only give it out to those that NEED it...

Re: phone numbers

Boost re-uses their phone numbers, you may need to have Boost issue a new phone number - if you keep getting called.

Re: How do I install

If you don't know what a CAB is - maybe you don't have a Windows Mobile smart phone?

Since you did not post any information what your trying to do - its tough to guess - what type of phone are you trying to installl too? What network? Do you have a data cable or OTA install (over the air).

Re: i425 shutting down

We have seen that on several units - so your not alone. Should you decide to upgrade to a motion activated unit - feel free to give us a call. With AccuTracking and our unit - you will get several weeks of use before the need to recharge. You don't need access to the cig. lighter and have better pla...
