I have found the speed to be pretty accurate. It only reflects the speed at the time of the data send, and not the max speed travelled. I know when I travel to Vermont skiing, and go and look at the log, you can clearly see where I was "over 65" :wink: Here is one I found from last month: ...

The battery that comes with the phone is around 800mah and it will last approx 6-9 hours running AT. Find the amp hour capacity of your car battery and multiply it 1000 times. and that will give you the mah capacity of the car battery. Not unless you have a bad battery to start with. The load from a cell phone is very very small. Without running the numbers, I'd say you could leave it on for a month, and have no trouble starting your car.

I understand that part... what I don't understand is how a mercury switch will tell you if the car is being used? A mercury switch only registers tilt, not movement, and it is a momentaty type of switch.
