Unfortunately we don't have MapPoint support now. I'll let you know if we do. :)

Thank you for the consideration,

It's not difficult for Nextel to accomplish the firewall-like job on their gateway server. DownloadApp is their own application and is granted a green light (based on digital signiture, e.g.), while all other applications are checked against the plan subscribed. Or DownloadApp is using a totally dif...

Not sure about the phone carriers and plans outside US, just as a tip:
Call your phone provider asking for 'the service that gives the phone a private/public IP'.

I'll try to straight these things out: :) 1. WAP cannot do it because it has no way to access GPS APIs on iDEN phones. WAP does the server side job, but for GPS, only J2ME does it (on iDEN phones). 2. When J2ME applications talk to any web server (WAP or Non-wap), the data service needed is 'defined...

The server is running normally. You can PM (private message) me your user name and phone model so I can check for you. If the message on the phone says "Sent xx:xx:xx AM/PM", it usually indicates a successful report. SMS alert number is usually another cell phone that wants to receive aler...

Hot fix only refreshes position in about every 10 seconds to keep the chipset hot but does not send data out. Your data sending interval will still be 5 minutes.

Thank you for the feedback, :)

You have to upgrade to v1.4 to have the speed & heading info. I see your are still using v1.3, according to our record. Please upgrde to v1.4 and see if the problems are still there.

Have you signed up for Nextel Total Connect? In addition, is your phone one of the i58sr/i88s/i730?

It usually takes a few days before Nextel activates your new plan.

 'geofence' is a circle centered at the long/lat with a preset radius. Alert can be sent when client crosses 'in'/'out of'/'both direction' of the circle. :)

Catch the error message on the phone if there is any. Other users with multiple phones are working normally so make sure your Total Connect is activated.

Thank you,

Not sure I am getting you right but the fence violation time is already included in the alert message. Arraival & departure geofence can also be set by choosing the fence type as "In", "Out" or "Both" on the fence setting page.
