Re: Viewing Maps on a Google Phone or T-Mobile G1

Its default for mobile.accutracking.com

If you can't log in and see it with http://www.accutracking.com then you will need the mobile site - which uses views from yahoo maps.

Re: Interval setting effect on battery life

You will NOT see a BIG improvement in battery life... There are other things that take battery with the unit on. Going from 1 to 5, or 5 to 10, you might get an extra hour - if your lucky. 8-12 hours, on the built in battery, is tops. We can provide a solution to 3-4 weeks - and a solution for 8-12 ...

Re: Full Screen Map Icons

If it helps, a dot on the left is stopped/zero speed. If its moving, its an arrow with the relative direction.

Color indicates time since last report... Green is most current, yellow is older, and red is oldest.

Re: device stopped reporting

You can also check and make sure you have boost "time & minutes" via the boost web page.

If thats good - then you will need the phone in hand.

Verizon does not allow GPS access to that phone right now, so no, it will not work.

Re: I425, and Accu tracking

I have a number of questions about the Motorola I425, and the Accu tracking software. 1) Is there a way to have the phone always answer, and go into speaker phone mode without touching the phone? No, why would you want this? 2) Is there a way to disable the volume buttons on the side of the phone? ...

Re: Tracking a phone

Not really without him knowing.

Make it easier, and track his car - if he takes his car.

Then make him find better friends.

Re: USB power adapter cable which is +/- on the cable ?

If you want to go the cheap way like that, you will need a mobile car charger - one that converts 12V to the proper USB charging levels. So buy a car charger, and a either wire 12V to the end of the car charger, or get a female cig. lighter receptacle - to make it look neater - and wire a remote one...

Re: USB power adapter cable which is +/- on the cable ?

You can't do that. You will blow up the phone.

USB power is NOT 12V, so you can't cut the end off your home/wall charger like you indicate in your post.

If you want to go the cheap way like that, you will need a mobile car charger - one that converts 12V to the proper USB charging levels.

Re: question...

Its not really "wrong software"; iDEN and the JAVA/J2ME applications are built for multiple units/phones - so yes, one version will work across many - unless its a phone that other special options/classes - most which have nothing to do with GPS - just in the way the software compiles. So its not "i...

Re: false reports?

Also its hard to just "guess" ID numbers, since there is a check-sum needed.

You can try putting a new tracker ID into your phone - and see if that stops it.

Re: i425 going out of stock?

We have tested the i335 and have had no issues at all with them. They track great.

We still have i415 units in stock for tracking use - both new, and used. We like the i335 much better than the i425 anyway - I was never a fan of the i425.
