Re: Phone holster interference??

I doubt its the holster.

Yes, some cars do offer different GPS reception issues - some luxury cars have a coating along the window, to reduce solar heat, and that can block the weak GPS signal.

You mileage may vary.

Re: Alerts not being sent to email or SMS

No need to uninstall the midlet on the phone, cause your right, it does NOT send the updates out. As long as you see the alerts on the web page, then the AT server is what sends the info out - based on your settings. And your seeing alerts in your history, right? There are some mail servers that wou...

Re: Alerts not being sent to email or SMS

I can tell you fences, and alerts - are currently working as designed. Did you make any changes under your "account settings" page? Sometimes that alert does not stay "sticky" there... Do you see check boxes in the SMS and EMAIL alert fields - under account settings? If not, check those 2 boxes - an...

Re: Change phone app settings remotely and other suggestions

Yes Carl - you are correct. There are only limited things you can do, since your working with AccuTrackings jar and jad - and they are a "compiled" version, or an end product.

But there has been some luck with the naming conventions in the past.

Re: Change phone app settings remotely and other suggestions

Carl; Now your making me double check - I will have to see if I can get an i335 back out - internally the i425, i335, and i290 are ALMOST identical - except a change with bluetooth, and some firmware... I will see if I can get one dug up and re-tested. The term "midlet", is the application program, ...

Re: Change phone app settings remotely and other suggestions

Ref Request 2: i335 does support battery monitoring - if the correct midlet is installed. The i425 should be the only phone that does not support it, and will not support it. There are a few different versions on the download page, so make sure the correct one is installed, then it should work. I'll...

Re: HOW CAN YOU TELL IF THE PHONE IS TURNED OFF

It does not do anything different, so its tough to tell. If you have the phone in your hand its easy - but if your looking remotely - the updates stop. The updates can "stop" for a few reasons though, out of coverage range, dead battery, application ended, no GPS fix, and "tower report" option off, ...

Re: EMI and total shut down in every 2 days of hardwired i290

The EMI your hearing, is actually RF modulation caused by the iDEN transmissions - the only thing you can do to reduce it, is to increase the distance from the offending device, that makes it audible. You can also notice this noise with CDMA, GSM, and any other type of modulation/RF transmission sys...

Pretty much any Boost mobile phone will work; if you have the loader software, and the cable. They all offer about the same features.

Re: How do i track my cell phone?

In order to track the "phone" - you need to download, and install AccuTracking on it... Once that is done, you need to setup the "phone" with the 10 digit ID number, that you get off the AccuTracking website - after you create it, in the "manage units" page. Once that number is placed into the "phon...

Re: how do I delet a geofence?

Click "manage units" and then find your unit, under the column of fences, you will see the number of fences you have set up. On the right is a tic box for delete - tic it, and delete the fence.

Re: Urgently need help locating a person, at my wits end

It must be installed on the phone, that is going to be tracked. And it does not track text messages, or phone calls. It will show the location of the phone, that is being tracked.

Re: tracking map

From the main page, click on the unit ID/name - it will then breadcrumb the trail of the tracked unit - based on the time range you have.
