Well, I think that part of the problem was a misunderstanding of how the program works. My Tilt was set to "turn off" when I haven't used the device in 1 minute. I assumed that it would continue working in the background while the phone was "off", just as some other programs do (FlexMail, for ...

I've reduced my cache size from 2000 (the default? I don't recall changing it) to 1000. I'll change it to whatever is suggested, to see if it improves the situation.

"Better reception" meaning cellular, or GPS? If it's GPS, I could understand that, because then it wouldn't be able to determine where I am. But in that case, why would it be continually updating the "last fix" field? If you were talking about cellular reception, why wouldn't it cache the points for ...

I installed AccuTracking v2.0 for Windows Mobile on my AT&T Tilt a few days ago -- this is the first I've used AccuTracking. I'm using the following settings:
