Re: Can't get GPS Tracking History - only All
Are you sure its sending good GPS data? If its set to all - it should show both tower and GPS data - if set to GPS only, it will ONLY show good GPS data - ie, no RED TOWER reports...

Re: Extending Battery Life
You can change to once every few minutes; but you still still see no more than 8 hours - if your using the regular battery.
We offer a motion board, that modifies your phone, and combined with our extra high capacity battery - you can get weeks of use before re charging.

Re: All devices dead after 20-35 days while charging ...
Jim; we have seen this issue before. The "phone" was never meant to be on 24/7 plugged into a charger. We have seen it crash all the time like this. Some chargers seem to work better than others, but they all die after a while, and require a restart. There is no known fix for this, other t...

Re: Boost i290 stops when getting a text message....
Yes; it allows you to put the phone to "sleep" when the car is not moving - it works for battery powered applications where you don't have it plugged into power.
It can extend the life between recharges to 4-6 weeks - depending on the amount driven.

Re: Boost i290 stops when getting a text message....
Our motion activated board resets those message errors. Each time the vehicle starts back into motion - there is a clean boot. That removes the messages, and starts AccuTracking back up.

Re: exactly how does this software work?
It reports how ever often you have the phone set to report. If you set the phone software for 1 minute, then it will update every minute on the web site. The easiest way to "watch it" in real time, is to log in and click the "full screen" option, and set it for 1 minute. Every ti...

Re: AccuTracking Starter Kit - when will it be available?
Boost is no contract; that charge though is separate from AccuTracking.
Get the Boost pay as you go - and you can have the cell service for less than $10 per month... Plus the AccuTracking fee. A pretty inexpensive way to go.

Re: Compatible ruggedized/Mil spec phone?
Kris; you also might have better luck using the phone external to the device being tracked. We use ours year round, in states like CA and AZ - with no trouble. They use our motion board, are mounted in a Pelican case, and then put under the car.

Re: Altitude Question
Don't have the specific altitude, but yes, there is a limit - your more likely to have issues with the cellular coverage in the air - as most cell towers use a down-til beam where the signal is hugging the ground - and not up in the sky. With that said, we have done several hundred feet - but its sp...
