The OP did a great job I think. For i415, the only way to install AccuTracking is using a USB data cable. No need to uninstall other programs but I think he just wanted to keep the phone neat. So if We just upgrade the firmware, should that really help? Also, in one of your posts you had indicated ...

AT,
The mirror site is really fast and loaded without any issues.
Please check what is going on with the main site.
Thanks for the help.

Can you please do a ping or traceroute and paste the result? At work, Tracrt & ping are blocked. The reason I say this is coz all the other sites load real fast, we have a T1 here. Even your forums page loads fast, but the tracking page does not load and times out. Right now, it is not loading ...

Also, is it required to uninstall all the other apps?

Thanks

Enabling smart sending will reduce the number of real-time data as it blocks "duplicate" data. They are real positions. What you read about the smart sending is a different issue: in plain words, when the phone is coming to stop from a low speed (i.e. 5mph), the smart sending blocks the l...

Actually your analysis makes sense. I know the cache sending and real-time sending are on different threads so they can occur without blocking the other. But they eventually share the same wireless channel and that might be the bottleneck. However, even if the cache sending blocks the real-time sen...

Real-time data has priority. So the phone will always try sending real-time data first, then try the oldest cached data. When the cache is full, oldest data are discarded first. AT, The unit came online or started updating again. But here is what is really happening: The unit came back at 1107 hrs....

Glad to hear it's back reporting. Is that because the vehicle moves into a specific area every day at 18:00pm, where the cell signal is so weak that the phone cannot connect out? Maybe, but I have had location points from this area before. The thing is that the unit moves out of this area in the mo...

Came back and stopped again

AT, There seems that something is going on that is confusing, yesterday after 17-18 hrs the unit startrd reporting again, gave all the cached locations since it shut down last night, and again stopped updating at 1800 HRS. This happened yesterday as well. The unit stops responding around 1800 HRS. C...

Expiring AccuTracking account should not affect the phone at all. The phone still reports data online for expired accounts. Only the data is not viewable until the account is recharged. However, from my experience, if your Boost minutes were out and you reboosted it, you'll need to reboot the phone...
