AccuTracking

Has anyone had any luck with installing this on their 930? So far I haven't been able to get Accutracking to work.

Granted, this phone has only been out since the 6th, but I am curious what version would work with the new I930? My phone is going to be delivered today and I would like to install the correct version.

With smart sending enabled, it will only send a position report if the phone has been moved. If not, it will not send another report as there is no updates available.
If you turn off smart sending, it will send a report every time.

I'm running it on an I836 with no problems.

Keep in mind, you will need the total connect package. Some people were getting the web package by mistake.

I'm not quite sure what you are asking. You said that you read in the instructions that total connect was required. But then you are asking if it required. Perhaps if you clarify your question we may be able to better help with what you are looking for.

That seems to have done the trick. Was able to download with no problem.

The error message that I am getting when I try to download the software is:

Failed Download with status code: 904(attribute mismatch).

Any ideas?

Trying to load the software on my 836. I tried the one that would work with the 730, but it didn't seem to like that very much.

Would it be possible for AccuTracking to do this themselves? I wondere if they would be able to allow users to "opt in" in their profiles in order to be included in a map of the area. Perhaps the map could be created for certain regions that people could zoom in/out and see other users in ...
