Also please clear the browser cache and relogin again. It's usually caused by an outdated script cached by the browser.

"Check out" would hide the unit on the tracking map. "Check in" would make it visible again on the map. Have you tried a different browser/computer?
Make sure you have adblocker disabled and clear the browser cache, then logout and re-login.

Sorry it doesn't work with other SIMs. Even if it did, it still won't work because the tracker is a UMTS 850/1900Mhz band device while Germany has UMTS 2100MHz network. The device is not compatible and won't work there.
