Re: Wife---

This is pathetic. If you're so insecure you have to spy on your spouse you need a divorce or some therapy. It's ridiculous to see a useful tool like GPS tracking being wasted on such nonsense. What is this, the Jerry Springfield show?

Bluetooth Receiver w/7100i blackberry

I'm using version 3.1.1 on a blackberry model 7100i, I just got an external bluetooth GPS receiver which tracks much better than the phone's GPS, the trouble is I don't see any settings or options concerning bluetooth in this Accutracking. I believe when using other versions on other phones I did se...

GPS Receivers: which are the most effective?

I'm looking for a bluetooth GPS receiver (receiver only) for use with my Blackberry 7100i smart-phone. I have read a bit about the technologies and basically understand that for a receiver to be accurate it should have WAAS and SiRF III. right? Now I look on eBay and see plenty of GPS receivers out ...

Tracking packages

I am an independent courier and have an order tracking, account management system I wrote in PHP for my customers to use. I use accutracking on my phone so that during rush deliveries they can look up the status of their package and see exactly where it is and how fast it is going. I seem to be a li...

Yes he is, if you trust your wife that little it's already over. Just get a divorce.

solution

to answer my own question...

for anyone else trying to do this -- refer the page above on Zend.com but search for the feedback entitled "Corrections needed for Openwave browser".

Openwave uses very strictly defined syntax in WML. openwave in general is very, very strict.

WML + PHP, mySQL on Nextel browsers

Hey I've been trying to get a simple WML page using PHP to update a mySQL database, and constantly getting the "1019 Compile Error" every time. I thought perhaps you all might have some experience with Openwave/Nextel browsers. I've used these examples, which don't work at all: http://www.zend.com/z...

address from lat/long you say?

How does accutracking get geocoding info? is that something I could use in a script? I need to use lat/long based on addresses in this thing I'm working on. FYI I've been customizing this software CRM-CTT http://www.crm-ctt.com for use as a courier ordering/tracking/dispatch system. I of course plan...

Sure this could be useful.. Smart sending only sends if it's moved at all or not at all, right? you might not want it sending every time you go short distances. like with the 8-hour etc. location history option is limited to so many points.. I could imagine times when I might not want it sending eve...

custom maps

I'd like to be able to <a href="http://www.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/" target="_blank">make a custom map</a> and plug in the neccessary info from Accutracking... how would one do that? wouldn't you have to host it on your Apache server? or is there some other way I could just plug in the ne...

yeah I'm on a bike.. I keep the wall charger with me and an extra battery.

keeping it mounted on my shoulder with the back facing up seems to help. I've noticed that the GPS mostly wants a clear view of east-to-west sky. doesn't seem to care much about north-to-south.

i see! I was just guessing, seems 90% of the nextel users I meet are contractors. do you keep it on & tracking while you work? yeah now I get a better view I see where you are. bad ass. I gotta visit El Paso some day. mine is giving real sporatic and random updates on my location downtown. it's pret...

Cell tower GPS if no fix

I go through places where GPS fixes are impossible, but cell signals are strong, all the time. I noticed that on non-GPS phones like the i205 they seem to at least the GPS lat/long of the nearest cell tower, and use it for E911, etc. So, if Accutracking can't get a GPS fix, why not have the option o...
