Re: Accutracking for Iphone NOW possible?
That requires jailbreaking, and I don't recommend that Accutracking get into that biz. Better to try and leverage the new API's in iOS 4 for GPS backgrounding and get something official. Of course, the backgrounding in iOS 4 will NOT work with the iPhone 3G. It will require iPhone 3GS or later. Assu...

Notice of "no location received in more than x minutes"
I'm looking for a solution for the following problem: Sometimes, for whatever reason, the phone fails sometime during the course of the day. I often don't know that it has failed until I happen to decide to check the location and see that no location has been reported by the phone in more than an ho...

ATTN: Support: RSS Feed stopped updating
My RSS Feed of alerts is no longer being updated. The last alert listed in the feed is dated "Wed, 14 Apr 2010 07:31:40 -0500". There have so far been 6 alerts on the alert list that have not appeared in the RSS Feed since that time.
Thanks

Phone holster interference??
I deployed my i335 in a real world situation over the weekend. Almost immediately, I encountered the following issue: As he was riding in a car out of town, I was only receiving cell tower locations, not GPS. This was the case for most of the 50 or so minutes that he was in transit. I did start to r...

Re: Limited number of viewable fences on map
Once again I am amazed by the quick response from Accutracking support. I just added a new geofence and it DID appear in the number 1 position, so I was able to see my circle and tweak its radius. Was this because of something you guys did, or was that just a coincidence? If it's your doing, then br...

Re: Need longer battery time..bigger capacity batteries for sale
Rob,
Are your batteries an internal solution that allow for continued use of the phone AS a phone (which can be carried around in your pocket), or are they an external solution intended for dedicated vehicle tracking?

Limited number of viewable fences on map
I've noticed that although the total number of fences seems to be unlimited (and you can apparently display up to 50 per page), only the first 20 fences in the list are actually visible on the map in to form of the green circle. Is this a limitation in Bing Maps? If so, is there any way to re-order ...

Re: Alerts not being sent to email or SMS
PROBLEM SOLVED!!! Turns out the re-named midlet, generated from the page provided to me by AccuTracking support, does indeed make use of a different outgoing email server in order to help preserve anonymity throughout the entire process. (so you don't get any emails that say they are from accutracki...

Re: Alerts not being sent to email or SMS
On a positive note, the response from accutracking support has been incredible. I never expected to hear from anyone over the weekend, but I did. It's good to see that they really do care about their product and their customers.

Re: Alerts not being sent to email or SMS
Thanks Eric. I've been working with tech support on this. It's been a real head scratcher. I've tried everything from deleting the unit and creating a new one with a new tracker ID, which didn't work, to creating a whole new accounts with a completely new email addresses (created exclusively for thi...

Alerts not being sent to email or SMS
(I am posting this AND submitting it to the Accutracking support email address simultaneously) I have seen older threads on this in the forum, but can't find a definitive fix that works for me. As of Wednesday, March 17 at 9:06 am, I have not been receiving any alerts to any of my email addresses or...
