In general yes it'll affect - if you have DirectTV, DISH, or XM radio you know it - they are all from satellite. Not always but quite possible with massive rainfall/snow. You can have a problem not only *when* it's raining, but up to a few hours after a heavy rain/cloud cover.

Wow, GPS signal sure seems to get blocked by really cloudy and rainy days doesn't it. Has anyone else noticed that? I haven't gotten any updates on my phone since it started raining really heavy here in DC.
