The GPS acquisition and sending share the same frequency so in your case, if you lose the GPS signal then there'll be no sending.

Is last known position sent?

If you set the sending interval to 5 minutes and between the time the last position was sent and the next one is due to be sent, you lost the GPS signal (entering a garage) will it report the last position it knows about? In other words is it actually taking readings more frequently than the sending frequency, and if it is, will it send that last position so long as it still has a cell signal? I would like to set up some geofences in a city, one minute position readings will probably work for geofences, but I would like to keep the sending frequency longer to minimize data transfer and possibly preserve battery life.
