I've experienced not the exact same problem but quite similar on serveral i415 phones. The phone automatically reverts to "airplan mode" after restarting. Then I manually changed to normal mode, it works. But after another reboot, it's back to airplan mode. A master reset won't help.

The final solution was to power off, remove the battery, wait for 5 minutes, then install the battery and power up. It then never came back again.

I think this is a firmware related issue.

Button settings reverting to the defaults

Hi,
In preparing phones for distribution, we use the Settings>Personalize menu option to set the assignable keys (arrows, softkeys, OK and Power Up) to run the MIDlet. This is basic phone functionality and it has worked well, or at least we thought so. Recently we have discovered 7 or 8 phones, out of 500 or so, that have reverted back to the default setting for the keys after our final test.

Has anyone else experienced similar behavior? It seems like a phone firmware bug to me. We are using the i355.

Thanks,
---joe
