Update:

Nextel is aware of the outage and is working on it.

From our past experience (see the GPS outage in August 2004), it'll take days. :shock:

There has been a Nextel data outage since yesterday or early morning today. So far this seems to be regional but in affected region, all data applications (including Nextel's "Download Apps") will have a communication error. AccuTracking software will show "Cannot connect" message on the screen.

We are still waiting for Nextel's response.
