Apline,
I also use Sprint and have had success receiving the message to my phone.
I don't know too much about all this technology but if you want me to look into my phone account features, I can do that for you.

The email you send to your SMS email will arrive your phone just as any other regular SMS and you read on phone.

To verify the SMS email address is correct, just send a test email from any of your yahoo or hotmail account to your SMS email and see if you get the SMS on the phone.

Sms Messaging using SprintPcs

Hello,

I have never used SMS mail before. I do use regular text messaging frequently however. I have a couple of questions that hopefully someone can answer.

Using a geofence and setting up the 10 digit phone number @messaging.sprintpcs.com for both entry and exit I have not received notification on my phone of the breach of the fence. If it was sent to me then how would I read it on my PCS phone? Do I need to subscribe to a service to read the SMS mail? Is there anyway I can verify that Accutracking has recognized the geofence and attempted to transmit the message via SMS?

Some help is appreciated,

Alpine
