AccuTracking updates at about every 10 seconds with "Hot GPS" enabled on Boost phones:

Without hot gps, you can set it to update every minute:

sorry about not including this in my first post, but i read something about using Google Maps to track the phone? Would this be more accurate and update faster?

I don't need to be able to see the location on my phone; if using google maps is a quicker way to update, then i'll use it gladly.

Accutracking for Boost

i've been looking for ways to track my daughter through a phone when she drives around in her car, and someone recommended boost loopt to me. I gave it a try and unfortunately, the boost network or data communication is very slow, therefore i get updates only about once every 10-15 min.

I found this website just surfing the web and was wondering if this application would update my daughter's location quicker than boost loopt. Does it connect to the tower and then get sent to the satellite or does the satellite directly find the phone's location?

If my only option for faster updates is to buy a phone from a different provider altogether, what would you recommend for accurate tracking while still maintaining a relatively cheap price?
