Most traffic has been rerouted and connections have been restored as the standby site was brought in service by the carrier.
The ETA for resolving the core-router issue is not yet available from the carrier.
If your tracker is still offline please contact us https://secure.accutracking.com/contact.php

[10/17/2019] TK373 SIM Network Degradation

by ATSupport » Thu Oct 17, 2019 11:57 am

We were just notified by our SIM card carrier that there's a network degradation since about 10:30AM EDT.
This affected the TK373 users in certain areas only. If you have your own SIM card, you are not affected.
The SIM provider network engineers are working on the issue and this thread will be updated for latest status.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

From the SIM network operator:
Unplanned Service degradation - October 17th, 2019 @ 14.30 UTC

You may have experienced a service degradation starting at 14.30 UTC.
We are currently reviewing in further detail to understand the nature of this issue.

Start Time: Thursday, October 17th 19, 2019 14.30 PM UTC
End Time: TBD
Nework Impact: Yes
Total Duration: TBD

We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Update from SIM carrier 1:10 PM EDT:
Unplanned Service degradation - October 17th, 2019 @ 18.30 UTC - UPDATE

Between 13:30 - 15:25 today we had a core-router network issue which resulted in a disruption to service. This was largely isolated to our non-VPN connectivity Customers. During this period your SIMs would have experienced a loss of connectivity.

This issue was related to a similar issue which occurred earlier this week. To provide corrective action we are bringing our Standby site into an Active configuration alongside our Primary site. This will provide additional capacity and help alleviate similar traffic patterns going forward.

We are also conducting an IP network review with our network technicians to ensure we can provide additional capacity and full network stability longer term.

We will continue to monitor this issue and continue to send updates.

Start Time: Thursday, October 17th 19, 2019 14.30 PM UTC
End Time: TBD
Network Impact: Yes
Total Duration: TBD

We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Update from SIM carrier 4:40 PM EDT:

As of 19:00 UTC, we have observed much of our traffic return online and stabilize. We will continue to monitor this issue and to send updates as needed. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you are still experiencing any service issues.

Start Time: Thursday, October 17th 19, 2019 14:30 UTC
End Time: Thursday, October 17th 19, 2019 19:00 UTC
Network Impact: Yes
Total Duration: 4.5 hours

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
