Hello, I am considering purchasing and deploying your GPS tracking solutions throughout a fleet of 95 vehicles which covers multiple departments in the company I work for. We do contract based work in the cable/telecom industry.
The current PDA we use is the Sprint Mogul PPC-6800 (also called HTC Titan 100) which runs Windows Mobile 6 Professional. Within this operating system are there any currently known issues regarding functionality? Also, about how much battery life can I expect your tracking software to use up? These PDA's are used very frequently throughout a 10-14 hour work day and already run web data intensive applications.
Also, among many other mapping/routing applications, we make use Microsoft MapPoint 2009 AND 2010 on a daily basis, does your COMM add-in work just as well in both versions or is there a limitation to using 2009? Does it even work in the 2010 version?
Is there any additional configuration required on my part to show an entire days worth of tracking points inside of MapPoint (or even Google Earth) or does the default of 100 still apply for performance reasons?
Any and all information is greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.
