Anyone here know where to buy the extended battery cover for the i290 and the high capacity battery (Motorola BK91) all in one place?

What's the service life of a fully charged BK91 compared to the 8-10 hr standard battery when accutracking is in use? Thanks

Yes I meant the i290. Thanks for the info. Very helpful.

Do you sell a "motion board" for the i295? Is it even available?

The phone will not automatically start back up once power is applied and charged up - it will need to manually be turned on.

Unless it has a motion board in it - then it will start automatically.

I hardwired an i295 to a dome light of my truck that has a timer. It seems that the power source turns off after a given time and if the truck is not started after more than 8 hours, the phone battery power will be depleted. Will the phone automatically start after a battery depletion once the truck is started and charging starts? Is there a way to manage this dilemma? Thank you for any input

8-10 hours, with any un modified phone.

The GPS takes lots of juice, and also sending reports takes juce.

A modified unit, such as ours, can average 3-5 weeks easily.

I find that you get about 8 to 10 hours max. with that phone.

I've got a few questions about energy usage from AccuTracker:

-Does it require more energy than regular standby on a Motorola i290 phone?
-If so, how much more? And if anyone's got the info, how much shorter is battery life (baseline 80 hours from Motorola site)?

If it can last at least 10 hours without charging while running AccuTracker I would be fine.
