Fix.

It appears that the Accutracking app uses TCP. So you need to configure the TCP settings on the Telcel (and maybe others) to get it to work.

Here is the TelCel settings
APN: internet.itelcel.net
USR: webgprs
PWD: webgprs2002

I believe I figured the problem out. The accutrack application stops running in the background for some reason. I installed it on my blackberry (which is a US ATT/8830) and it was working fine. After a few hours, it stopped sending data. The application shows in the Advanced->Applications list but I cannot get to it or make it run.

Any fixes?

Opera does work and well. Accutracking says it is caching records... 67 so far. But it is not reporting them to the website.

All the other internet apps work fine as well.

Try to install Opera Mini and see if it can connect out: http://www.operamini.com/

The app installs fine. The GPS works as well. But it says sending then caching. It appears that the telcel internet services are configured differently. i can get internet service though.

Blackberry 8830 and Telcel

The app installs fine on the Blackberry 8830 but it will not update tracking information. The carrier is telcel (I live on the border of Texas and Mexico). How can I get it to update?
