To enable active tracking on requsted by server, the phone software needs 1) a public IP; 2) listening for the query request. Though it's not difficult to implement, current AccuTracking software works only in passive way.

BTW I think turning an application remotely is a phone function.

location on demand

Is there a way to only send the location information when requested? Since the phone is 2 way, it seems reasonable to call it up and send a message to transmit the gps data. Or, turn the application on remotely? Any suggestions/ comments.
