No satellite just means it phone needs a better view of the sky and stays there for a while.
"Cannot connect" is likely the signal strength issue in your case. It should be at least 1~2 bars and stay above 0 for a while.
In your case, rebooting won't help much. Just take the phone to a different outdoor place with a good view of the sky and stronger signals, it should work normally.
