Looks like a GPS signal problem. Are you in downtown area around high rise buildings? Try to take the phone to and outdoor open space for a fix.

Try to use the phones built-in GPS function to do a fix: "menu" > "More" > "GPS" > "Position" > "Refresh". Also note you need to set the GPS Privacy to "Unrestricted" for AccuTracking to work.

What phone model is it? What's the error message on the phone screen?

I recently got a phone for my new foster son. It worked - well sort of worked - over the week-end. Occassionally tracked but had a 2-3 hour delay in reporting.

I posted a message about the above mentioned problem. 33 views but no responsed.

Since Mon. the phone has not tracked at all. When I try to manually send it says 4 or 5 satelites found but then a second later says 0 satelites. I thought the problem might be that we live near Seattle and it is often raining, but we've had some beautiful sun breaks the past few days.

Also, please be assured that my foster son is aware that he is being tracked. He likes the idea because then he does not need to call me each time he goes to a new location - something legally required by his particular situation. The phone number is a CA phone number because it was the closest area code Boost could find - I would prefer a local area code (253, 360, 206.)

If I cannot get the system to work reliably and quickly in a few days we will have to abandon it and go back to regular phone check-ins.
