I'm not quite sure what you are asking. You said that you read in the instructions that total connect was required. But then you are asking if it required. Perhaps if you clarify your question we may be able to better help with what you are looking for.

Do I have to have Nextel Total connect to use Accutracking? I have webjal and I didn instal the software but I cannot get a satellite to fix on my phone. I read in the instructions that Nextel total connect was required.
