In theory, you can use your phone as a GPS sensor to feed a mapping program like MS MapPoint. On your phone, go to the Menu and select GPS. Scroll down to Interface and set NMEA Output to On.
Connect you phone to your laptop via a data cable and NMEA formatted position info should now be making its way to your PC.
I've not actually been able to make this work using a USB cable, but that doesn't mean that it won't.
