I need to locate someone by cell tracking?

Is it legal to locate a person by triangulation? I found a service called
ICU and they claim to be able to PING any phone and get it's location. How are they able to do this?

Because you are on this site I guess it is okay to assume you have a nextel phone. Sooo, call nextel and ask them to activate their GPS Tracking. You will then be able to see the AREA that your phone is in. Maybe you will spot your truck. Nextel's Mobile Locator is NOT free and NOT always accurate. Better hurry before your bateery dies. Since the pre-loaded locator doesn't work, the only way that might help is the "Tower Trangulation" from your provider if the phone is in use. Even if the SIM card is changed, the IMEI number of the phone is unique.

My cell phone was stolen along with my truck & all my possesions,i know that the phone is equipped with a locator but the service provider says they can't do anything and the police are no help.The individuals are using the phone and i am looking for any options to recover my property
